The Master of Music in Conducting program prepares students for careers in high school teaching, church music, and professional conducting, as well as for doctoral study leading to college-level teaching. Students choose the Choral or Instrumental track, developing advanced skills in historical context, performance practice, interpretive and rehearsal techniques, kinetic control, non-verbal communication, aural skills, and arts leadership. Through intensive podium experience and specialized training in vocal or instrumental techniques, graduates are equipped to lead ensembles with artistry, clarity and confidence.
