Avoiding Citations

Here are the top three things you can do to avoid getting a citation while on the º£½ÇÖ±²¥ campus.

   Pay Attention to Locations

   Only park in a space indicated by the type of permit or the permit decal issued. If you are visiting the campus, please park in the indicated Visitor Lots (and pay to park where necessary).

   Pay Attention to Signs

   Parking is controlled by signage. Because there is more than one type of parking space in a lot, it is necessary to note the signage in the area. In each lot, there can be many different signs restricting parking throughout the entire day, including reserved until 5:00 p.m for the permit indicated, 24-hour reserved parking and handicapped spaces. Some lots are relaxed for different permits use after 5 pm. See Parking FAQs for more information. Lots excluded from that include H, L, J lots which are reserved for their permit type 24/7/365 as these locations asasigned employees have in use evenings and weekends.

   Pay Attention to Time

   Permit parking is enforced campus wide as indicated on signage and campus parking map, from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. A registered vehicle and permit or payment for parking is required at all times to park on campus. Access to parking locations is controlled by permit or payment at all times. All events must be scheduled in advance using Stable.
