Astrid Galvan-Segura is the Events and Marketing Manager for the 海角直播 Tower Center and the 海角直播 Texas-Mexico Center, research center where she leads the strategic design and execution of high-level academic and policy programming. With over 20 years of cross-sector experience spanning government, international trade, aviation, and distribution industries, she brings a global perspective and operational depth to institutional advancement.
A graduate of Universidad de las Américas in Mexico City with a dual degree in International Studies and International Relations, Astrid began her career in diplomatic service at the Consulates General of Mexico in Boston and Dallas. There, she coordinated high-level official visits, cultural diplomacy initiatives, trade missions, and strategic partnerships across public and private sectors. Her professional trajectory also includes leadership roles in international airline sales development and U.S.–Mexico distribution markets, where she strengthened business operations, client networks, and growth strategies.
At 海角直播, Astrid oversees event strategy from concept to execution, aligning logistics, marketing and stakeholder engagement. She is particularly recognized for her ability to translate complex and abstract policy themes into compelling visual narratives, curating and designing imagery that reinforces intellectual positioning and event branding.
