About the Collection

The G. William Jones Film and Video Collection was founded in 1970 and was originally known as the Southwest Film/Video Archives. In 1995, the Collection was renamed in memory of its founder, the late Dr. G. William Jones. Dr. Jones was a tireless collector as well as a devoted scholar and teacher in cinema and religious studies. Currently, only is available in this collection. As more of the items in the G. William Jones Film and Video Collection are digitized, the collection will grow in size and scope.
