The busy Fondren Library Collaborative Commons features a Starbucks Cafe, four monitors and lots of tables and booths for collaborative study. Conversation is allowed.

This study area in the Hillcrest Exhibit Hall space, located across the 2nd floor foyer from the Centennial Reading Room, is available for quiet study.

The Fondren Library Centennial Reading Room is a large room with four and six person tables for focused, quiet study. Each table has lamps and electrical outlets. The reference collection of Fondren Library is also in this space.

A popular study area, the 2nd floor above the lobby has comfortable, casual seating, several electric outlets, small tables, and natural light. This is a high-traffic area and conversation is allowed.

1st Floor Research & Scholarly Initiatives Studio
The Research & Scholarly Initiatives Studio in room 106 in the 1st Floor Learning Commons has computers with GIS software, a projector, whiteboards, seating, and worktables. Students are welcome to use the space when workshops and consultations are not in session.

1st Floor Prothro Learning Commons
The Learning Commons features PC and Mac computers and a variety of seating options. Choose from casual seating, a computer desk, or work with a group at large tables. The Print Copy Scan room has printers, scanners, and assistive technology. This is a very high-traffic area and conversation is allowed.

This floor offers a variety of study options, including large or small tables and study carrels. Large windows make for a great spot with natural light to decompress and study.

This is the quietest floor in the library and offers beautiful views of campus. Choose from small tables, study carrels, hightop seating, and casual seating.

The first floor study areas are in close proximity to the library services desk. Students can choose to study at tables by the periodicals and reference section or by the windows. The area in front of the windows has tables, chairs, and electrical outlets as well as casual seating. Printing, scanning and copy services available in room 1270. Quiet conversation is allowed on this floor.

The second floor of Hamon is a very quiet area. This floor has long-term study rooms that can be reserved by the semester. The study carrels are first come-first served. The area by the windows has six tables with chairs as well as casual seating.
